Building email relationships
Escents needed an innovative email campaign, which was both consistent with the brand (so that people would immediately identify it), and enticing (so that people would feel motivated to keep and forward each email).
The main email structure was on a template grid of three rows and two or three columns with the main offer at the top. We incorporated little write-ups of tips and tricks, so that people would find the email not only attractive but useful. Each email had its own identity, as we altered the colors of the header and body copy, and incorporated new imagery. The average results in a 12-month period were, Bounces 2.0% Releases 98% Unsubscribed 0.3% Opens 33% Clicks 24%.
