United Way needed a calendar as a medium to inform parents and caregivers of the importance of early childhood development.

The calendar was structured in three main sections. The first provided recommendations of how to best take care of children from 0–6 years. The second section is the calendar itself with monthly themes such as love, play, or protect with according recommendations. In addition, there is room to add notes or appointments. The last section promotes community services and resources.
